The Brackets are attached to the teeth by using a
special glue that bonds them to the teeth surface
and holds them in a place.
The archwire is the thin metal wire which
connects each bracket and puts pressure on the

Elastics, or rubber bands, are the colored ties
that clutch the arch wires to the brackets.
