How do you know that you are under waiting
list?

• If your ticket falls under waiting list, your PNR
  status will show any of the following codes
• GNWL It stands for general waiting list. There
  is a high probability of getting your ticket
  confirmed if it has this code.
• RLWL It is the abbreviated form of remote
  location waiting list. In this case, the ticket
  will be issued for the intermediate stations. The
  chances of ticket confirmation rely completely on
  the cancellations of the confirmed tickets.

• PQWL It is shared by a set of small stations and
  is hence named pooled quota waiting list. If you
  are travelling from originating station to some
  intermediate station, there is a high chance that
  your ticket could fall under this category.
• RSWL It stands for roadside station waiting
  list. It is allotted when seats are confirmed
  while travelling from originating station to some
  road side station. There are least chances of
  getting your ticket confirmed in this case.

  under the name Vikalp, has brought a huge sigh
