Nicholas Dematteis An Engineer
Nicholas Dematteis is an architectural engineer.
He has always loved working with numbers and
designing structures. He discovered a passion for
architectural engineering while he was in
college. He enjoys being able to create buildings
that function smoothly and improve the overall
standard of living for the people who use those
buildings. He worked as a government employed
architectural engineer in Boulder, Colorado for
over ten years.

Nicholas Dematteis is an expert on buildings and
the construction process. As an architectural
engineer, he specializes in the engineering
aspects of a building. He focuses on the
structural systems, electrical systems, and the
mechanical systems. He works with the
construction crew, the architects, and the
building owners in order to develop a building
that is aesthetically pleasing, safe, and
structurally secure.

Nicholas Dematteis A Love for Design
Nicholas Dematteis has loved designing structures
and going through the building process since he
was a child. He went from creating massive Lego
structures to studying architectural engineering.
While he was a student, he realized that he was
more interested in using math and physics to
design the structural systems rather than
designing the buildings themselves. He enjoys
being able to combine design elements with
mathematics.

Nicholas Dematteis An Education in Boulder
Nicholas Dematteis grew up in Denver, Colorado.
He chose to attend University of Colorado,
Boulder because of their amazing engineering
department. He loved going to school in this
city. The engineering program gave him the
opportunity to work with a variety of great
engineering firms in the Boulder area, and when
he was not studying, he was hiking or skiing in
the mountains.
