The West Coast is also frequently referred to as
the Tech Coast among entrepreneurs today due to
the boom in tech startups across the coast. There
have been increasing signs of growth in the
Midwest as well like Columbus, Ohio and Chicago,
Illinois. Below are the top angel funding
organizations found in the western parts of the
United States today.
Angel investors provide more business funding
than do venture capital groups. Angel funding
organizations in the west coast of the United
States today are responsible for nearly a third
of the total angel capitalist investments.

1) Pasadena Angels has approximately a hundred
angels and provides funding to companies that are
in the early-stage or in need of seed funds.
Servicing primarily southern Cali companies,
Pasadena Angels provides funds of up to 750,000
to startups in need annually. 2) Alliance of
Angels is based out of Seattle. Their investment
network is a collection of Northwest investors,
and their focus of investment is primarily in the
Northwest area. 3)  The Oregon Angel
Fund invests in 4 to 7 early stage start-ups
annually. While the companies can be in any
industry, they must reside within the state of
Oregon.

4) The Band of Angels is based out of Menlo Park,
California. They have approximately 150 angel
investors in their network. 5) US Angel
Investors is based our of California and Nevada.
The invest in a wide range of industries. 6) 
The Investors Circle is based in San Francisco,
California. It has invested in approximately
early stage 290 companies with almost 190 million
dollars. 7) Tech Coast Angels have approximately
300 members. They boast investments of over 120
million in more than 200 companies.

8) Bellingham Angel Group is based out of
Washington. They invest in early  to mid stages
companies that are focused green tech, consumer
products, life sciences and information
technology. 9) The Sand Hill Angels organization
is located in Silicon Valley. They make
investments anywhere between 100,000 to
500,000. 10) Seraph Group is another Midwest
angel organization that funds that provides
anywhere between 500,000 to 1,000,000 to
startups with high growth potential. 11) The
Angels Forum is located in Silicon, Valley. They
provide seed and early stages of funding to
companies in Mountain View, CA or within a
50-mile radius.

Angeles, CA. They invest anywhere from 100,000
to 2.5 million per idea. 13) The Arcview
Group is a new angel group located in San
Francisco, CA. Their primary focus is in startups
dedicated to legal cannabis distribution.
14) Golden Seeds is a San Francisco angel
group. They focus on investments where startup
companies are led by women. 15) HealthTech
Capital  is an angel investment firm dedicated to
influencing the health industry through
technology. 16) San Joaquin Angels of Stockton,
CA invest anywhere between 25,000 to 100,000
for each individual transaction.

stages. 18) Stanislaus Merced Angel
Investors is located in Modesto, CA. They are
focused in startups dedicated to energy,
electronics, education, product, clean

Angels, based in Sunnyvale, CA, is a
not-for-profit angels group that offers up to
1.5 million dollars dedicated to biotechnology.
20) TIE Angels is based in Santa Clara, CA.
They provide seed funds to companies that have
been screened by the Steering Committee and
focused on clean technology, internet, and
medical technology. 21) Desert Angel
Group focuses on companies in the southwest.
Typically 1 to 2 companies are selected each
month to give presentation to the investors.
