• What are Ideal Egg Donor Requirements in Ontario
  Canada?
• Have a BMI of 28 or less
• Between the ages of 19-31
• Healthy, not currently on Depo-Provera
• Non-smoker and no recreational drugs
• Secondary Education is not compulsary

• Q. What if I have an Intrauterine Device (I.U.D.)
• A. Donors who have had an IUD insertion generally
  may donate without removing the IUD if it does
  not release any level of hormones. IUDs such as
  the Mirena IUD that release hormones may have to
  be removed prior to egg donation. Please be sure
  to inform Egg Helpers if you have had an IUD
  insertion.
• Q. I live outside Ontario, can i Still Donate my
  Eggs?
• Yes! Although we are located in Ontario, we have
  donors, intended parents, and clinics that are
  located all over the world to accommodate you and
  the parents respective locations.
• Q. Which risk are involved?
• A. Like many medical procedures, there is always
  a risk and possible side effects. The primary
  risk is called Ovarian Hyper-stimulation
  Syndrome. This is rare, occurring in only 1-3 of
  cases.
• Q. Egg Donation Compensation
• A. We suggest you speak to your coordinator at
  Egg Helpers for full details on reimbursement.
• Q. How can I be sure that my donation remains
  confidential?
• A. Donor confidentiality is protected by a
  consent form signed by the donor, as well as the
  recipient.
