Jessica Kahal was a brilliant student as well as
talented band member in the Marching Band of
Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in California.
She remained the part of Marching/Concert Band
for four years i.e. 1999 to 2003.

Jessica participated in the Peninsula High School
drum line and went to several competitions. She
also sang in the Peninsula High School chorus and
gave a performance at the Kennedy Center in
Washington DC. She has actively participated in
High School Musicals (Pit Orchestra), Bye Bye
Birdie in 2002, Fame! in 2002, and West Side
Story in 2003.

Owing to her skills and talent being a band
member, Jessica Kahal also got the chance to be a
part of California State University Long beach
Concert Band in 2003. She has also been a part of
Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2002
to 2003. She has been rewarded with the Most
Improved Advanced Orchestra in 2001 for her
recognition of diligence, dedication and musical
excellence in all of her performances.

In addition to this, Jessica Kahal also has a
talent of playing flute. Due to this, she got a
chance to play flute solo at Mozart, Flute
Concerto in D Major in 2002 Winter Concert with
Adv. Orchestra. She has also participated in
Certificate of Merit Competition (Flute
Competition) in 2003.

Till now, Jessica Kahal has done two jobs out of
which one was the job of a Pool Lifeguard in Jack
Kramer Club, Rolling Hills Estates in 2002 where
she was responsible to look over the people
swimming in the pool and their safety. Her next
job was at the Concessions/Box Office in Regal
Cinemas The Avenue 13, Rolling Hills Estates. She
did this job for two years i.e. 2002 to 2004.
