3Anticipatory Set
- Teacher asks students Do you like helping
others? In which ways do you help others? Would
you like to hear a story about a man who liked to
help others? - Well, today were going to read the biography on
CĂ©sar ChĂ¡vez, a leader of the United Farm Workers
who thought about ways to make life better for
migrant workers. He did many improvements and
helped many people.

- First of all, the teacher explains that a
biography is the most importants facts of
someones life. - Then, we will go over vocabulary to make sure the
students understand the reading. - A slide show would be used with vocabulary
definitions and images. - Vocabulary
