Timeline of events
Beginning In the beginning of the book we are
introduced to a character named Thomas Alexander
St John Kennedy aka tas, hes a boy whos growing
up in a town called Frankston with his family, he
normally likes getting in to trouble by getting
into fights or replying rudely to teachers, which
either result in a detention or a
suspension. Middle Thomas gets shot by one of
Enyas family members and gets sent to the
hospital, in the hospital he meets his principal
Mr Mac who suffered heart strokes, from there he
changes his attitude from being a bad boy to a
good boy because of Mr Macs way of life. End
In the End a tragedy happens, Reebok dies while
the person who tried killing Thomas and killed
Reebok gets arrested, he was Enyas Uncle. Later
Thomas discovers his talents in music and tries
for the scholarship exam. he passes the exam and
gets accepted in the music academy.

- The Main understanding of this novel is that
Thomas is a kid who gets in trouble a lot,
normally for fighting or bad behavior but after
Mr. Mac leaves school cause of his heart strokes
Thomas gets sad but it gets worsen when Thomas
gets shot and sent to the hospital, when he
arrives there he sees Mr. Mac and he tells Thomas
that there is no point getting in to trouble,
this made him change and try to find his talents,
he did it was music - Main understanding of this novel is that, Thomas
is facing encounters of bad things in his life
which he overcomes with his talents.

- Family- We picked family because most of the book
has Thomass family mentioned. There is always
some humour going on or sibling squabbling with
each other. - Bullying- We picked bullying because there are
lots of incidents where a bully in Thomass
school kept on picking on him. One day Thomas got
so mad that he put dog turd in his bag. - Achievement- We picked achievement because Thomas
passes music scholarship test towards the end of
the book. - Friendship- We picked friendship because Thomas
makes lots of friends during the book especially
a girl called Enya. Enya is also another main
