• Hello, I thank all that use this powerpoint to
  help others with Math. RWFL Incorporations loves
  helping other children with their learning. I

Step one Parenthesis

• Parenthesis is the first step you use when doing
  a multiple operation problem. For example
• In this problem,
  6-(5-3)10, you
• would do 5-3 first
  since its in
• parenthesis

STEP TWO EXPONENTS

• Exponents is a hard step into doing this. Here is
  an example of a problem with an exponent.
• In this problem
  you would
• do the exponents
  AFTER
• the
  parenthesis. 2x2x2 is..
• 8

STEP THREE MULTIPLICATION

• Multiplication is the third step with the PEMDAS
  rule. Multiplication is a step you cant forget,
  look at this.
• If you read
  this, there are
• no
  parenthesis. There are
• no exponents,
  so you do
• 
  multiplication. 2x5 10!!
• Can you figure
  the rest?

STEP FOUR DIVISION

• Step four is division, the D in PEMDAS. This is
  another problem you need to follow PEMDAS in.
• There are
  parenthesis, (7-2)
• is 5, Exponent is
  in, 4 to the
• power of 2 is 16,
  no
• multiplication, and
  then
• divide. 16/2 is 8.

STEP FIVE ADDITION

• Addition by now must be easy. However is the 5th
  step in PEMDAS, or the Order of Operations.
• Lets use it in example
• There are no parenthesis, there are two
  exponents, there is multiplication, there is
  division, after that, do the addition.

STEP SIX SUBTRACTION

• Subtraction is all thats it. The last step to
  knowing your PEMDAS Rule, and your Order of
  Operations.
• There is
  tons of
• 
  subtraction in this one!
• Can you
  figure it out?
• Well, there is only addition so do that, and your
  ready to do subration.
