2Awad Rasras is a Mathematics Associate Professor
at Jefferson Community and Technical College,
Louisville. He is a professional individual who
has more than 25 years of experience in teaching
Mathematics. He is widely recognized for his
in-depth knowledge of the field. He just loves to
travel because according to him, he get a chance
to explore new places and amazing sceneries. To
likes to remain fit and healthy, and that is why,
he participates in several activities including
running, walking, and cycling on constant basis.
3Awad Rasras has attended prestigious colleges and
universities including the University of Kansas
and Texas Womans University. In 1978, he
finished his B.S. in Mathematics and after that,
he studied in Texas Womans University to receive
his MA degree in Mathematics. He completed his
Master of Arts in Education from the University
of Kansas in 1985. He entered the Jefferson
Community and Technical College, Louisville, KY
in 1987, and has been working in the college
since then.

interest in Mathematics, to become its members.
The MAA is a leading society which is committed
to mathematics accessible at the under-graduate
level. It was established in 1915, and located in
Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C.,
the society publishes a number of journals, that
include Mathematics Magazine, The American
Mathematical Monthly, Math Horizons, The College
Mathematics Journal, and MAA Focus.
