Awad Rasras Obtained MA In Education From The
University Of Kansas
Awad Rasras is an experienced Associate Professor
of Mathematics. He is a resident of Louisville
and has years of experience in the field of
teaching. He completed his studies from the most
prestigious universities including the University
of Kansas, Texas Womans University, and Birzeit
university Palestine. Since 1987, Awad Rasras has
been teaching Mathematics at Jefferson community
and Technical college Louisville which is a
public institution, awarding certificates,
diplomas and associate degrees. It is the
regions second largest college/university and
has about 15,000 students and 6 campuses. The
college provides open access to affordable,
quality education and training for a diverse
community of students.

In 1978, Awad Rasras pursued B.S in Mathematics
from Birzeit university Palestine followed by
M.A. in Mathematics from Texas Womans
University. The Birzeit University is a
Palestinian Arab institution, supervised by an
autonomous Board of Trustees. It provides an
open, liberal environment that emphasizes on the
Arab-Islamic Heritage and allows students to
develop their personalities as well as realize
their potentials. Later, Awad Rasras enrolled
himself in Masters of Education in 1985 at the
University of Kansas. This university is
committed to offer highest quality professional,
undergraduate, and graduate programs across the
nation. The university also offers an array of
advanced graduate study programs through
knowledgeable faculty.

Association Of Two-Year Colleges
Awad Rasras is an active member of renowned
professional organizations including Mathematical
Association of America (MAA), and Kentucky
Association of Two Year Colleges (KYMATYC). MAA
was founded in 1915, a professional organization
with people having great interest in mathematical
sciences. This society has maximum number of
members from universities, schools, colleges, and
more. The KYMATYC is an organization that allows
teachers of mathematics (on college level) and
other individuals who have an interest in
Mathematics to become its members.

Awad Rasras Loves Exploring New Places
Awad Rasras is a knowledgeable and hardworking
person. Besides this, he loves travelling and
discovering new places. He is a passionate
traveller and enjoys exploring different
destinations. In addition, he is a fitness
enthusiast and engages himself in running,
strolling and brisk walking on a regular basis.
In his free time, Awad Rasras likes reading books
and novels.
