2Mark Adams Sozo has built a stellar reputation as
a trailblazer in business strategy and
entrepreneurship, both within Fortune 500
Companies, as well as creating and running
several successful companies in a wide variety of
industries.
3Included in his ventures are two insurance
companies, several restaurant companies, a
national restaurant franchise, an innovative
electric propulsion company, a national training
company. More recently, Mark Adams co-founded
SoZo Global, LLC a global network marketing
company that focuses on an exclusive line of all
natural nutritional products.
4Mark Adams Sozo is graduate from Texas State
University in 1985, Mark Adams went on to spend
the next eighteen years of his career with three
widely successful businesses, including Xerox,
Johnson and Johnson, and Bostik Adhesives.
Twelve years were spent at Bostik Adhesives in
both sales and strategic business management
roles on an international level.
5In 1997, Mark Adams assumed the role of Global
Sales Director for one of Bostiks global
strategic business units, amassing over 200
million in annual sales. Also, Mr. Adams became
the General Manager and joined the board of
directors for Nitta-Friendly Company, a large
Bostik joint venture company based in Osaka,
Japan.
6In 2000, Mark Adams Sozo left Bostik and
acquired a minority ownership interest in Ward
Adhesives, Inc. In a short amount of time, he
led the organization to become one of the largest
and most profitable distributors of industrial
adhesives in the United States.
7In 2004, Mr. Adams founded Advocate, MD Insurance
Group, Inc. one of the largest and fastest
growing medical liability insurance carriers in
Texas. Headquartered in Austin, Advocate, MD
provides policies for thousands of physicians
across the state.
8In November 2009, Mark Adams Sozo sold the
company for an industry record setting valuation
multiple and remains the companys President and
Chief Executive Officer.
