professional, Judge Patrick Burns Auburn is
acknowledged for his ability to decide
impartially. He started his professional career
as a lawyer in 1978. He ran his private practice
for almost twenty years and fought cases related
to Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Civil
Litigation. In 1998, he was appointed as a
Presiding Judge at Auburn Municipal Court. He
worked as a presiding judge for fourteen years
and rendered fair and unbiased judgments.

Patrick Burns has rich experience and extensive
knowledge of the legal system. He has been a
leader in therapeutic courts, mental health
court, drug court, veterans court and
alternatives to jails. He also served as a
faculty member at Judicial College from 1999 to
2006. As a teacher, he was highly appreciated for
his engaging and interactive teaching sessions.
He imparted knowledge and wisdom to the students
and helped them in their learning process.
Currently, Patrick Burns Auburn WA is working as
a Pro-Tem Judicial Officer at Kent and Kirkland
Municipal Courts.

Court Committee. Being associated with various
organizations, Patrick Burns Judge consistently
works for the improvement of court services and
for the growth of the legal system. Apart from
the afore mentioned, he has also worked on
different projects including Substance Abuse
Providers Standards Project and
Inter-jurisdictional Warrant Quashing Project.

Patrick Burns has even been a Councilmember of
Auburn city from for many years. Apart from being
an adept law professional, he likes to involve
himself in activities like reading, swimming and
Ball room dancing. He is also an avid traveler
and loves exploring different places to relax and
unwind himself.
