Distribution Office

• Every day we supply the office with fruit for
  students to stop in and pick up a piece.

• Monday Wednesday Friday
• During advisory
• A staff member puts the fruit or veggie into
  baskets and a student from each advisory picks
  ups the basket. At the end of advisory a student
  returns the basket.

• Tuesday Thursday
• A few teachers have put in special requests for
  fruit veggies for on their desk.
• Also our morning open gym program has requested
  product.

Choices of Fruit Veggies

• In November we had the students do a survey of
  what fruits and veggies that they liked. At this
  time we are offering the most popular ones.

Teachers

• Most of our teachers are not pushing the issue of
  eating healthy. If the students dont want the
  fruit in the mornings they are not picking up the
  baskets.
• At this time we are delivering the baskets that
  are not picked up for the classroom.

Sixth Graders

• New for them this year.
• The 6th grade teachers are the teachers that have
  requested extra fruit for their desks.
• Very little of their fruit comes back on the main
  3 days.

7th and 8th Graders

• Seem to be tired of the program. 85 of the
  advisories return over half of their products.
• To help us we have asked the teachers to keep the
  fruit on their desk for the day.

Educational

• We did supply the principal with some information
  on fruits and veggies. On the morning
  announcements for Monday Wednesday Friday a
  student is reading fruit veggie facts.
• The principal and I are trying to coordinate the
  facts to match the product being served that
  morning.
