5On February 8th a very cold, snowy night we
initiated a new name for this companyTeam
Maverick, to signify the uniqueness of the
situation. To merge two MP Combat Support
companies together, in order to successfully
accomplish two missions Operation Iraqi Freedom
and Community Law Enforcement in Central Region.

6This war is unlike any other ever fought by the
brave soldiers of the United States. There are
multiple enemies on multiple fronts. It is our
obligation to pay the debts we owe to all the
soldiers who have gone to distant lands and laid
down their lives to take the war to our enemies.
These enemies must be defeated, we must remain
vigilant in our resolve to rid the world of the
evil of terrorism and liberate the people of
Iraq. Team Maverick is ready to do our part in
this great and noble cause. CPT Will
McKannay

11630th MP Company looks especially good today
because they are especially ready. If Iraq was
safe and the mission was easy there would be no
need to send American Soldiers, Military Police,
or 630th MP Company. America is sending the very
best! - LTC Mark Spindler, 793rd MP Battalion
Commander
