ABOUT PRODUCTS

• SOAP - Olive Oil Soap Sindyanna olive-oil soap is
  made in the West Bank city of Nablus according to
  traditional techniques.
• BASKETS - The Sindyanna baskets are made with
  palm fronds to reproduce traditional Arab
  basketry, which was based on olive and mastic
  branches. The fronds are especially strong and
  durable. Revival of the commercial production of
  basketry is a niche for jobless Arab women.
• OLIVE OIL - Sindyanna's olive oil is Extra
  Virgin, produced in a cold press.
• CAROB SYRUP - It is made in Galilee using
  traditional methods.
• ZAATAR - This is the hyssop of the Bible, also
  known as Syrian marjoram. We buy the za'atar from
  the Women's Cooperative for Cultivation and
  Production in the West Bank city of Jenin.

• At the village of Kfar Manda, in May 2007,
  Sindyanna of Galilee opened its first basketry
  workshop under the supervision of artist and
  teacher Ronit Pan. Its six members had earlier
  taken part in two weaving courses. The new
  workshop is intended to train women to meet a
  high standard in basketry. The project will
  proceed on a trial basis until September. If it
  succeeds, the women will then start working for
  Sindyanna, producing baskets for the local and
  international market.

Sindyanna is a Fair Trade program that respects
the rights of workers and maintains fair
relations with farmers the conditions of its
plant's operation are very good, and its earnings
are responsibly invested.

SERRV International, which plans to buy more than
12,000 bottles this year.
