  • Allows someone using only Adobe Reader to see and
    use the GeoMark Toolbar in order to export
    shapefiles out of a GeoPDF
  • This allows for the round tripping of data from
    the GeoPDF creator, to field personnel and then
    back to the creator.
  • The Extension appears on its own toolbar as well
    as within the GeoPDF menu GeoPDF Extensions
    GeoMark Enable
  • Requires Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Enable for Commenting Analysis in Adobe Reader

What is the GeoMark Toolbar?
  • A set of tools that allow for the insertion of
    points, lines, polygons and comments (which
    include identity information of the person who
    added the markup) to be exported to the shapefile
    format

How to GeoMark Enable a GeoPDF
  • Open the GeoPDF in Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Reader Enable the File
  • Comments menu Enable for Commenting Analysis
    in Adobe Reader
  • GeoMark Enable the File
  • Simply click the GeoMark Enable button or menu
    item
  • The file can now be sent to those with Adobe
    Reader who will see the GeoMark Toolbar

  • Choose the Create Custom Stamp option.
  • Browse to an Image to Import.
  • Give the Stamp a name category if desired.
  • The new stamp PDF is created at C\Documents and
    Settings\User Name\Application Data\Adobe\Stamps
    and has an arbitrary name that Adobe assigned.
  • Copy the PDF file to the following location
  • C\Program Files\Common Files\TerraGo\GeoStamps
  • Close the Adobe application.
  • Launch the Adobe application and open a GeoPDF.
    The GeoStamp tool now should display your custom
    GeoStamp.
