Introduction
  • During the month of March, we celebrate Women's
History Month.  This is a time for us to reflect
upon all of the great women in our nation's and
world's history.  There are many famous women
with which we are all familiar.  There are,
however, many others who have made their place in
history that we need to give a closer look.  The
objective for this web quest is for you to learn
how to research information on the web, compose
research into a narrative, and work
    collaboratively to complete a task.

  • His/her hometown information

Resources
  • There are so very many wonderful women that we
can study.  Narrowing down a person to profile
can be a very tedious task.  You have already
been given a sub topic of women to research.  Use
the websites below to browse and learn about some
of the women in your subtopic.  You may even want
to write down some of the names of the women you
find interesting as you are browsing.  When you
think you have narrowed down your selection,
choose the woman that you think you would like to
profile.  Remember, try to pick someone that you
would like to know more about and that you would
like the class to know more about!
