  • Honor School of Excellence with 91.3 of students
    at or above grade level and met Adequate Yearly
    Progress (AYP)
  • A Highly qualified staff maintains a caring and
    student-centered facility.
  • Intervention programs for at risk students such
    as Book Buddies and one-on-one tutoring are
    available.

  • Strong community relations through volunteer
    programs and community events such as Terrific
    Tuesdays are ongoing.
  • Supplemental programs are provided and include a
    full-time writing coordinator, Accelerated
    Reader, Accelerated Math, and the use of staff as
    tutors during available time slots.

  • Force students to enter and exit main building
    several times during each school day
  • Internet access is not reliable.
  • Even though covered walkways are available,

    years ago.
  • Neither playground area (K-1 or 2-5) is
    wheelchair accessible.
  • Storage areas for materials such as handicap
    physical education equipment are limited.

  • Serves a very supportive community with over
    4,000 volunteer hours donated to the school
    during the 2003-2004 school year.

    space for classes as needed.
  • An air-conditioned gymnasium provides optimum
    space for students to benefit from a quality
    health and wellness program.
