methodologies to evaluate the prevalence and
impact of psychosocial risks at work and
    work-related stress, including physical and
    psychological workplace violence, harassment,
    bullying and mobbing
  • Identify appropriate means of collecting

  • Develop international standards and indicators on
stress and violence at work in order to promote
harmonisation in the area of psychosocial risk
management and enhance best business practice

10
Objectives 2
  • Develop detailed recommendations and
    evidence-based best-practice guidance on the
management of these issues at the workplace to
promote clarity and a unified European approach
    that will enable stakeholders (occupational
health and safety professionals, policy makers,
employers, trade unions, employees) to put these
in practice to improve the quality of working
    life
  • Disseminate the results of the project to
stakeholders and social partners including SMEs

Strategy 1
  • Evaluation of progress on acceptance of the
framework and convergence within the framework gt
  • policy adoption within the MS involved
  • publications using the framework helping
    organisations translate policy into practice
  • collection of complete case studies that
explicitly use the framework approach in
    different countries

18
Strategy 2
  • Expert network of centres in each MS that can
help and support the use of the risk management
approach by organisations within the PRIMA-EF
    framework and which encourages convergence
through its activities with those organisations

19
Strategy 3
  • Provision of a European monitoring system, based
on those expert centres, which trades help and
support for data and which publishes a yearly
digest on working conditions and health thus
enabling organisations to bench mark their
activities and the EC to have a more accurate
    picture of the psychosocial landscape

20
Conclusions
  • Momentum for action in area of psychosocial risk
