  • Dweck, C. (2002). Praise can be dangerous,

  • The article suggest that although rewards have
    been greatly used within education, research
    depicts that such reinforcements does not
    increase intrinsic motivation
  • Extrinsic rewards can have opposite effects

work, numbers who agree, etc. Concept maps work
well here (See Mills page 108).

Intervention and Plan of Action
Restate your latest action research issue in form
of a question Present a one sentence statement
describing the goal of the intervention you
describe in your plan of action. Tell us about
your plan and give a rationale for each component
of your plan. Provide your ideas for
reflective monitoring and adjusting of your
proposed plan. Mills page 126 Steps to Action
might be a nice way to do this.
