- Seniors who would graduate on time if they could
just get 1 or 2 more credits - Pregnant /or parenting students
- Head of Household
- Dropouts between the ages of 16 18
- Students who need a flexible schedule.
- Students who want to get ahead

- 8th graders not ready for 9th grade
- Overage 8th or 9th graders
- Drop-outs wanting to come back to school
- Adults needing GED, English, Citizenship, etc
- 9th graders needing that 6th credit
- Students needing to get credit at an alternative
time to allow them to remain in an
extracurricular activity
10Set the Goals
- A goal is measurable.
- All students will complete a minimum of 1 credit
per period enrolled each semester.

- Students will earn at least 2 half-credits for
each class period enrolled per semester. - Students will raise their reading level by at
least 2 grade levels during their tenure in the
NovaNET program
12Measuring the Goals
- The number of completed credits will be the
measure of each students work. - The BASI will be used to measure grade level
gains.
13How will students be admitted to the program?

state and district guidelines. - Have a syllabus for each course offered

- 2 days on-site at the beginning of your program
includes working on the implementation plan - 1 day follow-up to ask what you didnt know to
ask the 1st 2 days - 1 day at end of year to wind up the program for
the year
