  • This free newsletter may be branded with your
  • picture and information and provides up-to-date
  • news and statistics about the local, regional and
  • national housing markets.
  • The data is retrieved from trusted sources like
    NAR, HAR, the U.S. Census Bureau and others so
    you know it is reliable and accurate.
  • It also features a monthly housing market
    update video, commentary by
  • top national economists, home searches tools,
    mortgage rates and more.

Jumpstart Your Client Experience Rating
  • When HAR developed the Client Experience
    Rating, we didnt want to make our members wait
    for a certain number of future transactions
    before they could benefit from the valuable
    feedback from their clients.
  • We enabled the system to allow our REALTORS to
    send surveys to clients who engaged in a
    transaction back to January 1, 2008. That means
    there are more than 69,000 sales transactions and
    more than 26,000 lease completions that qualify
    for inclusion in the program.
  • All you have to do to get started is log in to
    the Members Only Portal (like you are going to
    TeMPO) and click on My in the left column.
    Scroll down to the second to the last item, which
    will say Client Experience Rating. Click on
    that link and you will be taken to a page that
    has all of your past transactions. Click on the
    ones for which you have your clients e-mail
    address, and the system will do the rest.
  • More than 520 REALTORS have already sent out
    more than 2,600 surveys in the few weeks since
    the launch of the program.

Did You Know?
  • The average national commission received by a
    REALTOR actually increased in 2008 to 5.20
    percent, according to real estate research firm
    Real Trends. This was up from 5.18 percent the
    previous two years and 5.04 percent in 2005.
  • Statistics show that in more turbulent housing
    markets, consumers utilize the services of a
    REALTOR more than they do during rising markets.
  • It is during rough patches that the market
    knowledge, accurate and informed pricing and
    expertise in marketing a home really pay off.
  • According to the National Association of
    REALTORS 2008 Profile of Home Buyers and
    Sellers, sellers who utilized the assistance of a
    REALTOR received 37.9 percent more than those
    that who sold on their own. That is likely a
    combination of poor pricing on the part of
    do-it-yourself sellers and the extra value that a
    REALTOR brings to the transaction.

    homes. Fortunately, I have nearly 50,000 to
