The Pioneers Association of South Australia Inc.

• an incorporated, not-for-profit, community
  organization, founded in 1935.
• membership is open to persons who have at least
  one ancestor who arrived in South Australia
  before the end of 1845.

The objects of the Association

• Perpetuate the memories of the pioneers of the
  early settlement of South Australia
• Establish and maintain a faithful record of the
  pioneers for the benefit of future generations
• Preserve records, portraits, relics and
  historical materials associated with pioneer
  settlement
• Promote awareness and knowledge of South
  Australian history
• Affiliate with any other organization with
  objectives similar to those of the Association.

The Pioneers Association

• conducts regular activities and events for
  its members publishes a quarterly journal
  "The Pioneer".
• publishes from time to time booklets
  relating to the early history of South
  Australia.
• is a member of the History Council of South
  Australia Inc.

• Copies of booklets and the Associations journal
  may be purchased using an on-line form or in
  person at the Associations office during office
  hours
