Testing
- Voluntary Quality or Safety of Electrical
Products (out of mandatory list). - Organization (manufacturer, dealer or
importer,etc) chooses standard for
certification. Type testing is generally used
(random sampling). - Testing Labs may be Electrical Labs of QUATEST(s)
or other accredited Electrical Labs belonging to
ministries, universities, state or private
enterprises - STAMEQ is responsible for inspection of imported
and exported products, verification/certification
(for both voluntary and mandatory schemes),
contract testing and monitoring domestic products.
