• Rebound therapy is the therapeutic use of a
  trampoline to improve gross motor skills and
  postural balance mechanisms.
• Improves cardio/respiratory fitness.
• Can aid communication skills.
• Improve general body awareness.
• FUN!!!

• WHO WOULD USE REBOUND THERAPY?
• We use rebound therapy for any child with a
  mild to severe physical disability. It is a
  wonderful tool to produce successful and
  progressive movement experiences. More complex
  movements can be broken down into their simplest
  forms and graduated so that each can be
  individually challenged and their movement
  programme tailored so that they are set up to
  succeed.

• Initial Set-Up Costs are Expensive
• Appropriate venue
• Equipment
• Staff training
• High staff gt child ratio

• - Fantastic use of therapy time
• - Can record change in children each week
• - Can see approximately 20 children per day
  in 15 minute slots
• - Incredibly motivating
