Action Explore CEOS Working Group on Integration
and Synthesis

• There are a confusing amount of similar products.
• Validation and Intercomparisons can be very
  informative.
• User needs have to be better defined and
  answered
• Proper data fusion should build on
  intercomparison and user requirements.
• Users need assistance on what product to use.
• CEOS should initiate a pilot working group on
  sensor constellations (for combined products and
  mission planning).

• Break-out group reports and closing presentation
  posted ASAP
• Ungar to report recommendation to CEOS plenary.
• WGCV (Ungar), LPV (Nickeson), IVOS (Fox c/o
  Ungar), GOFC-GOLD (Justice/Herald) to post
  document on their pages.
• Get report to GEOSS

• Some agency to produce glossy hard copy.

• Steve Running to work on biophysical panel in
  GTOS
• NASA/GSFC (Garrigues) to continue LAI
  intercomparison and other intercomparisons to
  follow this framework.
• Coordinate phenology networks through GEOSS and
  describe opportunities for these networks to
  compliment global vegetation monitoring (through
  Biophysical GTOS panel).
• Report to GEO
• Report to Aeronet science steering committee on
  operational transition of Aeronet
• Report to Baldocchi Fluxnet on enhancing
  instrument suite.
