15
Feedback on Growth Model Joint Exploration
  • Excellent comprehensive look at the variety of
growth models currently being used and explained
across the country. Format led to identification
of the most important issues associated with
    consideration and implementation of growth
    models.
  • Lots of very bright people!

16
Feedback on Growth Model Joint Exploration
(Contd.)
  • As someone whos background is curriculum and
instruction, not assessment, I was quite
concerned coming in that the content would be
overwhelming. However, I found the process to be
very engaging and well planned and I learned a
tremendous amount about growth models. This was
    a well-spent 2 days.
  • Very informative.

17
Feedback on Growth Model Joint Exploration
(Contd.)
  • It would have saved a lot of effort and
speculation if the purpose of the growth model
    had been slated up front.
  • An excellent first step. I hope that KSDE
follows this event with a joint exploration of
the purpose for incorporating a G.M. toward a
    general consensus

18
Next Steps
  • Whether
  • Purpose!!!
  • Which
  • Vertical Alignment???
