  • Originally supported by the British Computing
    Society, Oxford University Press, and the
    University of Southampton

  • Innovative for 1997, needs a face-lift
  • Very little managed workflow or submission
    support
  • No standard encoding formats (i.e. TEI) some
    documents multi-page hypertexts

  • Open Journal Systems - journal management and
    publishing system
  • Publishing reader tools and OAI-PMH integration
  • Management complete scholarly workflow,
    including peer review, copy and layout
