  • The JWOD Program is now called AbilityOne
  • The intent for the new name is to increase
    awareness better communicate the mission
    program identity.

    pool of approximately 21 Million potential
    employees

    employment challenges due to their disability

NISH Responsibilities
  • Liaison between AbilityOne, NPAs, Federal
    customers
  • NISH supports the Committee for Purchase located
    in Arlington, VA, all government agencies
    nationwide and all the AbilityOne contractors
    providing services or manufacturing products
  • Allocate contract opportunities
  • Ensure quality service in development,
    negotiation, performance of AbilityOne projects
