4What We Do
- Mission Promote development by training
Eurasian managers and scientists - Group training programs and grants to American
organizations. - Training program and grants cover costs of
hosting Eurasian managers and scientists for
hands-on professional development training

and, most importantly, continues to succeed in
Eurasia because of the SABIT Training Program.

5Benefits for Host Organizations
- Over 1,000 hosts have hosted 2,500 trainees
- Helps SMEs form relationships with potential
customers, distributors, or partners - Linkages serve as a basis for new business
development and often lead to real world results.
SABIT is an excellent tool for facilitating
business relationships. I would recommend it to
any firm interested in developing business ties
in Eurasia.

6Real World Results
- Facilitated over 220 million in exports and
investment - High percentage of hosts enter into business
relationships with trainees - Hosts have expanded relationships with and
established additional regional offices
The SABIT Program allowed us to meet and impress
foreign officials and business persons in whose
countries we have a commercial interest and with
whom we might have business dealings in the
future.

7Case of Compressor Controls Corporation
- A medium-sized supplier of turbomachinery control
solutions headquartered in Iowa - Cultivated relationships with several trainees
through the Grants Program - Result Opened Moscow office, formed JV with St.
Petersburg-based company, signed contract with
GAZPROM for 500 million.
Most of the three-fold increase in revenue and
employment at CCC since 1992 can be attributed to
our strong market position in Eurasia. We are
training several trainees from Uzbekistan this
year under our newest award who will be at the
core of our Central Asian business expansion.
