Course Objective

• Participants will demonstrate competence in the
  implementation of research-validated
  interventions for at-risk learners in reading.

Course Requirements

• For 3 semester hours, participants will
• Complete 28 clock hours of seminar instruction
  including peer-with-peer seminar practice
• Complete 29 clock hours of supervised
  in-classroom practicum during the school year
• Monitor and collect learning progress data for 3
  to 5 students during the school year
• Demonstrate mastery of the program per
  supervisory evaluations
• Demonstrate mastery of the program per student
  learning outcome data.
• Train one paraeducator to competently instruct
  the program

• Attendance requirement
• Participants must attend required training
  seminar and complete required practicum hours.
