Rules Regulation

• The competition is open to all primary school
  students of levels four to six.
• Each participating school may submit a maximum of
  2 teams with each school consisting of 1
  teacher-in-charge per school.
• The role of the teacher-in-charge is to advise
  the students on the creation of the website and
  equip the students with the necessary skills.

Rules Regulation

• The index file (homepage) must be in the root
  folder. i.e. The homepage must be accessible via
  the following URL D\\index.htm or
  D\\index.html(Assuming that the CD or DVD is in
  the D drive)
• Please ensure that the videos submitted are able
  to run on standard media players.
• Please do not include any unnecessary files with
  you submission. This will help minimize the size
  of you submission. Only include the files that
  are linked to the website.

Free Training

• Two workshops will be conducted for the first 20
  teams that sign up for the competitions online.
• Training will be conducted at Victoria School on
  either 2nd or 3rd June 2009.
• Software that will be trained on is Adobe
  Dreamweaver CS3, Video Editing and Basic
  Animation skills.

Free Training

• To maintain a small trainer-to-students ratio,
  only 2 members and 1 accompanied teacher per team
  will attend the workshop.
• A confirmation email with training details will
  be send to the schools that are qualified for the
  training in May.
• No transportation will be provided.
• Refreshments will be provided.

• All teams are to submit their work by 31st July
  2009, 5 p.m to

  disqualified from the competition.

  teacher-in-charge.

• National Education (20)Relevance to NE,
  Accuracy of Message, Impact or Impression on
  people of Singapore when they view the website.
• Creativity (20) Interactive, Graphics, Design,
  Creativity in Titles Content, Originality,
  Colour combination, Suitability of the layout to
  the topic.

• Content (30) Accuracy, Language, Relevance,
  Sufficiency, Interesting Facts or content, not
  plagiarized.

• NE (20)Relevance to NE, Accuracy of Message,
  Impact or Impression on people of Singapore when
  they watch the video.
• Creativity (20) Originality, Concept,
  Storyline, Graphics, Design, Engaging, Colour
  combination.

• Presentation (30) Appearance, Cinematography,
  Editing, Sound, Pace, Effective use of
  soundtrack.
• Content (30) Accuracy, Language, Relevance,
  Sufficiency, Interesting Facts or content, not
  plagiarized.

  teams that did not receive the Top 3 Awards.

Prize Giving Day

• The date will be 29th August 2009.
• The Venue will be Victoria School.
• 2009 PGD will be a Carnival-like event.
• All Top 10 shortlisted entries are required to
  showcase their websites/videos.
• Judging will be done on the spot and results will
  be announced on the same day.
• Mystery Prizes will be given out on PGD

Project Learning Form

• In order to facilitate the judging process, every
  team will have to fill in a Project Learning
  Process Form to explain their work.
• Form has been sent out to all schools.
• It can also be downloaded from the competition
  websites.
• Entries without PLF will be disqualified.
