GMES characteristic

• GMES being a major European initiative with
  different participants from EC, ESA and national
  entities, is rich in interfaces and funding
  mechanisms.
• GMES initiative is
• multi-thematic (land, ocean, air,) and
• multi-technology (EO, ground sensors,
  telecoms, positioning,).Therefore GMES is
  present in different Thematic Priorities of FP6.

submission of expressions of interest (EoI) to
participate in research actions for topics
throughout the seven thematic priorities. http//w
