Two bowl feeders, 1 running round nuts, 1 running
hex nut.iVu needs to stop bowl feeders if parts
get into the wrong bowl.

Over exposing the nut also broke up the edge to
create a unique pattern. Otherwise the round nut
was not much different than the hex nut.
I reduced the FOV to only show the top portion of
the hex nut so that I had a smaller number of
matches to deal with.

diffuser plastic.

Above is a chart to calculate FOV for any desired
resolution.
When measuring, the camera needs to be very high
in order to reduce the distortion of the lens.
Use a telecentric lens, which can only look
perpendicular, if the FOV is smaller than 3. In
our case, our FOV was too large and the camera
had to be higher to insure high accuracy.
