Exercise For Life
  • To keep muscles lean and healthy, exercise must
    be a daily routine.
  • The heart and muscles work together to keep our
    bodies fit.
  • Our hearts supply oxygen to the triceps.

Stretching the Triceps Femoris
  • Raise the elbow above the head.
  • Bend the arm so that the elbow points to the sky.
  • Hold the raised elbow with opposite hand and
    gently pull across the head.
  • A proper stretch will have a slight burn.
  • If there is pain, discontinue the stretch.
  • Hold the proper stretch for 30-40 seconds.

  • Stretching requires minimal amounts of oxygen.
  • Exercise after stretching requires larger amounts
    of oxygen.
  • The burn in our muscles is due to lack of
    oxygen.
