THINGS I CAN DO IN SCHOOL
  • Get a Study Buddy whenever you can.
  • Listen carefully and take notes.
  • Speak up in class discussions.
  • If youre confused, ask questions.
  • If youre not doing well, ask for help!

HOMEWORK TIME!!
  • Have a regular place to study that is quiet,
    well-lit, and stocked with school supplies.
  • Do not watch television while doing homework.
  • Put your homework in your backpack!
  • Look at the notes teachers write on your tests
    and assignments. Be sure you understand why
    something was marked incorrect.

WHAT I CAN DO AT HOME
  • Get enough sleep. Teenagers require about nine
    hours of sleep. If you get up at 600 a.m., go
    to sleep by 900.
  • Eat well. Good nutrition will help you stay
    healthy and in school.
  • Get regular exercise to stay healthy.
