4- Once youre done eating, you need to separate
scraps from your lunch into compost, recycle, and
trash piles. - Here are things you can and can not compost from
a lunchroom

- By composting, you reduce trash.
- In the lunchroom, just place the appropriate
items in the compost trashcan.
6- In the compost bins, food is broken down by
things like - bacteria and worms.

Dont forget, you can also turn it by hand!
7Once the compost is turned back into soil, it can
be put back onto the ground.
- The fresh compost is full of nutrients that will
help plants grow.

- 1.The first stage is your food that you put in
the composting bin. - 2. Then when you put the compost in the box with
the worms, it will turn into dirt. - 3.Then we put it in the ground.
