• Middle States Team visit in 1998
• Became aware of EPCCs model for institutional
  effectiveness - fall 1999
• Assessment Task Force formed to develop MVCCs
  process - spring 2000
• Received Board of Trustees approval - August 2000
• IEC formed - fall 2000

• Respond to mandates of accreditation/ regulatory
  bodies and advisory boards
• Compile data required by SUNY, SED, and Perkins
