• The Story of Esther
• Parents died when she was a child
• Raised by Mordecai, her older first cousin
• Presented and chosen as a candidate for the
  queen, because of her beauty
• Chosen as the Queen of Persia
• Haman the Agagite plots to destroy the Jewish
  people
• A decree is sent out on a particular day, all the
  Jews must die. In addition, gallows are built to
  kill Mordecai. (The man who raised Esther)
• Esther is the only one in a position to save her
  people

• Haman the Agagite
• Agag was king of the Amalekites. This is the
  group that fought with Moses when they were in
  the desert. God raised up Saul to destroy them,
  but they destroyed him instead. This enemy has
  plagued them ever since they have been free.
• No generation has produced a champion yet to set
  the family free from this generational curse.

• Esther 414
• For if you remain completely silent at this time,
  relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews
  from another place, but you and your father's
  house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have
  come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"

• Esther made a stand.
• Esther 51
• Now it happened on the third day that Esther put
  on her royal robes and stood in the inner court
  of the king's palace, across from the king's
  house, while the king sat on his royal throne in
  the royal house, facing the entrance of the
  house.

• You yourselves write a decree for the Jews, as
  you please, in the king's name, and seal it with
  the king's signet ring for a letter which is
  written in the king's name and sealed with the
  king's signet ring no one can revoke."

  Adar, on the thirteenth day, the time came for
  the king's command and his decree to be executed.
  On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped
  to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that
  the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated
  them.

• 4 For Mordecai was great in the king's palace,
  and his fame spread throughout all the provinces
  for this man Mordecai became increasingly
  prominent. 5 Thus the Jews defeated all their
  enemies with the stroke of the sword, with
  slaughter and destruction, and did what they
  pleased with those who hated them.

• A king who puts the next generation under a curse
  of bondage and slavery.
• A queen who sets a generation free from the curse
  of bondage and slavery.
• Genesis 2217 blessing I will bless you, and in
  multiplying I will multiply your descendants as
  the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is
  on the seashore and your descendants shall
  possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your
  seed all the nations of the earth shall be
  blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."
