3The Heart Guide
The word heart is mentioned 832 times in
the Bible. The heart speaks to us and we speak
to our heart (Genesis 17, 24, 27, Job 8, Psalm
10) The heart is the storehouse for our
emotions(hardened, glad, sad, joyous, grief,
sorrow, happiness, encouragement) The Great
Commandment is to love the Lord your God with all
your heart, soul and strength. Do not let your
heart get troubled and you wont be
afraid. Terror is a heart issue that takes over
the mind and causes it to imagine things.
The Heart Guide
4You must set your heart to seek Him. You have
to prepare your heart when you decide to seek
the Lord. (2nd Chronicles 19, Ezra 7)Psalm
3418 tells us our heart can get
broken.Proverbs 1410 says the heart knows its
own bitterness.Proverbs 1430 says a sound
heart is life to the body, but envy brings
rottenness. Proverbs 15 and 17 say a cheerful
heart is a continual feast to the soul and body
and is like medicine to your health.
