HE is and will always be Jehovah Rapha . . . The
Lord who heals thee Exodus 1526 And He said,
If you will give earnest heed to the voice of
the LORD your God, and do what is right in His
sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep
all His statutes, I will put none of the
diseases on you which I have put on the
Egyptians for I, the LORD, am your healer.

Isaiah 611 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon
me, Because the LORD has anointed me to bring
good news to the afflicted He has sent me to
bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to
captives and freedom to prisoners. We are the
antibodies

miss 51 When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up
on the mountain and after He sat down, His
disciples came to Him. 52 He opened His mouth
and began to teach them

• Mountains
• During the first century, among Jews, Romans,
  and Greeks if Mountains were used in literature,
  it meant a lot more than a discussion of
  topography or geology.
• There was something about Mountains that was
  mystical, mysterious.
• There is a deeper, more profound significance
  associated with Mountains.

Mountains and Hills played a big part in the
lives of these ancient people. Psalm 151 O
LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell
on your holy hill? Psalm 241-3 The earth is
the LORDS, and all it contains, The world, and
those who dwell in it. For He has founded it
upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.
Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And
who may stand in His holy place? Psalm 1211
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains from
where shall my help come?

Do You Remember ? Mt. Arrat Where the Ark
rested Mt. Morriah Where Abe offered Isaac Mt.
Horeb Where Moses encountered God in the
Burning Bush Mt. Sinai The 10 Commandments Mts.
Ebal Gerazim The Blessings Curses were
read Mt. Carmel Elijahs Sacrifice Mt.
Hermon Mt. of Transfiguration Mt. of Olives From
where Jesus ascended

A Little Bit More The High Places were known as
places of pagan worship 1 Kings 31-3 Then
Solomon formed a marriage alliance with Pharaoh
king of Egypt, and took Pharaohs daughter and
brought her to the city of David until he had
finished building his own house and the house of
the LORD and the wall around Jerusalem. The
people were still sacrificing on the high places,
because there was no house built for the name of
the LORD until those days. Now Solomon loved the
LORD, walking in the statutes of his father
David, except he sacrificed and burned incense on
the high places.

And again . . . 1 Kings 1333-34 After this
event Jeroboam did not return from his evil way,
but again he made priests of the high places from
among all the people any who would, he ordained,
to be priests of all the high places. This event
became sin to the house of Jeroboam, even to blot
it out and destroy it from off the face
of the earth.

One more . . . Ezekiel 61-3 And the word of
the LORD came to me saying, Son of man, set your
face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy
against them and say, Mountains of Israel,
listen to the word of the Lord GOD! Thus says the
Lord GOD to the mountains, the hills, the ravines
and the valleys Behold, I Myself am going to
bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your
high places.

God set HIMSELF against these high places . . .
these Mountains because they had been erected in
the midst of HIS VERY OWN PEOPLE.
