General Information

• At Sharow C.E primary school there are not
  many children at all. The school starts at 9 0
  clock in the morning and finishes at 315. School
  is a very interesting place. The school s head
  teacher is called Mr Foxwell.

Teachers and Children

• There are not many children in the
  school. Our Head Teacher, Mr Foxwell, started at
  Sharow at Christmas, 2004. We only have 45
  children. Class 1s Teacher is called Mrs
  Houghton. Class 2s Teachers are called Mr
  Staincliffe and Mr Foxwell. Mr Staincliffe works
  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. All the
  rest is up to Mr Foxwell.

School plays

• We do at least one main school play a year, then
  we do about four mini plays at Easter, Harvest,
  Christmas and school leavers.
• In 2005 we did the school play of Jack and the
  beanstalk, and the year before we did a play on
  Cinderella.

lunchtime

• At lunchtime we have two dinner lady's called
  Mrs Snary and Mrs Johnson. The food comes from
  Cathedral school and a lady brings it here and
  cooks it for school dinners. The lady is called
  Mrs Newsted who also is are school cleaner, she
  really helps the school. All the children in the
  school enjoy the school dinners especially fish
  meals.

lessons

• Our first lesson is maths, then English. After
  lunch we do ether D.T, science or history. We
  usually do science in an afternoon with Mr
  Staincliffe and D.T. with Mr foxwell. On a
  Monday afternoon we do P.E, something like tag
  rugby or Kwik cricket.

Playtime

• At playtime there are lots of things to do
  like go on the climbing wall, go in the garden or
  play your own game, also there is a great big
  field to play on in the summer.
