Decision Analyst began developing an up-to-date
look at differences/similarities between key
generational segments of the United States
population. A primary research screener was
conducted among Internet panel respondents living
in the United States. -

shape. - More of our youngest and oldest take the time to
stay in shape - Less than half of us watch our diet for
cholesterol. A great difference is apparent when
comparing Original Baby Boomers and their older
neighbors. A great number of Baby Boomers are
not altering diet yet to counter the negative
effects of cholesterol. - Gen Y respondents living in the SC states are
atypically concerned about the cholesterol issue.
- Only 4 in 10 of us are the correct weight for our
height. - More Gen Y followed by Poverty Era members are
within the correct weight than any other group. - Fewer Original Baby Boomers than any other group

work ethic, especially among the young adults. - Many of us, more often younger than older, are
making plans to move to another company in the
near future. - Many are retiring early.
- Many want to never retire.
- Trust scores remained similar among all
generations. - Parents are believed by most to be the most
trustworthy. - Most believe corporations to be the least
trustworthy. - It would be difficult to find a time when the
public relations groups within corporations would
be more needed.
