Roles and Responsibilities
  • The University Contact is the department level

  • The University Contact is responsible for the
day-to-day management of the collaborative link
and is the first line of referral for all
academic and course management issues. The
University Contact maintains regular contact with
the partner and works closely with the
Collaborative Programmes Office (CPO) and the
    Associate Dean (Academic) (AD(A)). Because
arrangements vary accordingly to the requirements
of the individual link, University Contacts must
ensure that they and their Partner Contacts are
clear about their respective roles and
    responsibilities. Therefore, the University
Contact should agree and document a record of
each Contacts role and responsibilities to make
    clear who does what.

Faculty. The AD(A) liaises with CPO with regard
to the approval, monitoring, review and reporting
requirements for the quality assurance of
    collaborative programmes.
  • The Collaborative Programmes Office (CPO)
provides a university level function. The CPO is
based in Quality Management Division, Academic
Registry and gives a strategic and operational
focus to the management of collaborative
programmes, allowing certain aspects of delivery
    to be managed more closely.

  • To provide induction/staff development to staff
involved with the management and support
    of collaborative provision
  • To support the University Contact Forum
  • To inform the University and its partners about
    new developments
