• 289 Districts live on SSEM across 16 ITCs

• Adobe Versions
• should only run 1 version of Adobe.
• Uninstall ALL versions and reinstall correct
  version.

Drop Down Lists

• The Data Collection pulls selections from the
  dropdown boxes on the IEP forms.
• Typing in these drop down boxes creates issues on
  the both the DCF as well as EMIS Module.
• For Services use the drop down as a header and
  the textbox below as the narrative.

Uploading Documents

• There is a limit of 5 MB (Megabyte) when
  uploading additional documentation.
• 1000 KB (Kilobyte) 1 MB (Megabyte).
• Review the details of a scanned document before
  uploading. Sometimes they can be larger.

Known Bugs List version 4.2.1 (1 of 5)

• Finalization Errors.  Users receiving
  finalization errors (referencing 1020916 and
  1030918) but when trying again or a third time,
  IEP finalizes correctly.  Some users seeing their
  finalized sets "disappear" but able to be
  returned by ITC staff using Unfinalize IEP
  script.  (Under investigation by SA).
• Form Grade Level Changing.  When users create a
  testing page for the student's grade next year,
  the change of grade level is changing the IEP
  cover page (PR07P1) and EMIS DCF to the next
  grade level.  When correcting the error on the
  IEP cover page, the test page is reverted to the
  current grade level.  (Under investigation by SA).

• RIEP Date on Preview Data Collection Form.  When
  opening the Preview EMIS Data Collection Form
  (new in version 4.2.0) the RIEP date does not
  display even though it is keyed properly on the
  Date Code Form.  This was not resolved in 4.2.1
  as expected from 4.2.0 (Fixed in SSEM 4.2.2)
• LRE missing from Extract Error Log.  Extract
  error log not displaying LRE even though student
  record is missing LRE value.  (Fixed in SSEM
  4.2.2)

• EMIS Review Report - Related Services. When
  running the EMIS Review Report, Level 300 and
  Level 500 access, the Related Services were not
  displaying on the report even when the value was
  checked on the EMIS Review Report Selection
  Screen.  (Fixed in SSEM 4.2.2)
• EMIS Report pulling  SSN in DASL districts.  In
  DASL districts using an EMIS ID different from
  the SSN, the EMIS Review Report is currently
  pulling the SSN instead of the EMIS ID.  There is
  no issue for DASL districts using SSN as the EMIS
  ID or SIS districts.  (Fixed in SSEM 4.2.2)

• Testing Accommodations on Preview DCF.  When
  opening the Preview EMIS DCF the testing
  accommodations were not displaying even though
  they were marked appropriately on the Testing
  Page.  They were showing properly on EMIS DCF
  generated after finalization.  (Fixed in SSEM
  4.2.2)
• EMIS Review Report Building Selection.  When
  users with district-wide access run the EMIS
  Review Report, report would run for the default
  building regardless of the building selected on
  the EMIS Rpt Selection Screen.  Workaround is to
  return to SSEM Homepage, select desired building,
  then click into EMIS Tools. (Fixed in SSEM
  4.2.2).

• EMIS Review Report with Case Management Classes. 
  When users with case management classes run the
  EMIS Review Report, only the students in the
  building where the case management class was
  built will display.  For example, if the case
  management class was built in the elementary
  building and the class roster contains both
  elementary and middle school students, only the
  elementary students will display when running the
  EMIS Review Rpt.  (Under investigation by SA).

SSEM Hotfix 4.2.2

• We are waiting for a SSEM Hotfix to rectify these
  outstanding issues. NEOnet will install this
  Hotfix as soon as it is released to us.
• This may occur on a different evening other then
  the usual Wednesday night.

SSEM-EMIS Regional Training

• Five districts attended the SSEM-EMIS regional
  training at TCCSA. In attendance were
• Buckeye Local Schools
• Green Local Schools
• Twinsburg City Schools
• Woodridge Local Schools

SSEM EMIS Training

• Recommend retraining users for any district
  planning to use any part of the EMIS Module.
• The training includes
• IEP to EMIS Data Collection Form data flow and
  system functionality
• IEP Finalization and Refinalization
• EMIS Implementation Process

Summer Release

• New Forms effective July, 2008
• FY09 EMIS Reporting Changes
• ODE Mtg. has not been rescheduled yet.
• Some Adobe Forms Improvements
• EMIS Functionality Improvements
• Extract by building
• Default testing dates
• Mark an IEP as Do not Report to EMIS for
  withdrawn students.

Future Enhancement List

• The next four pages include the results from the
  last SESAC Meeting at LACA
• Priority was set by SESAC meeting held on March
  6, 2008 on whether our existing proposed
  enhancements need to come before, with, or after
  the new version of SSEM (Task Model), or if
  enhancement should be removed from the list
  entirely.
