ship you a 4000-4500 monument YOU KEEP THE
    REST!
  • BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW THE PROGRAM AS SPECIFIED!

Why Recruit Via the Ten Commandments?
  • Striking while the iron is hot Unlike multiple
pro-life efforts Catholics have been asked to
participate in over the last 35 yrs, this is the
first Ten Commandments effort that has been made
available over that same period of time because
the battles have all been in court rooms.
  • 96 of Church going, non-Knight-Catholic-men are
just as enraged about the 30 yrs of attacks
against the Ten Commandments as Knights are.
  • Involving Non-Knights in a joint effort that
they feel so strongly about is the foot in the
door your looking for to introduce them to the
    Knights!

Large crowds, at blessing ceremonies, are the
norm with this program!
5

Bulletin Announcement
  • Along with a letter of support from your pastor
in the bulletin the week before your Ten
Commandments weekend, it is strongly encouraged
that this flyer be inserted in that same bulletin.

10
Ten Commandments Weekend
  • The keys to a successful weekend
  • Everyone is invited too donate or pledge no
    gift is to small!
  • Tables are set up properly at all the exits
  • Volunteers are at each table and trained in
filling out the Donor/Pledge form Project Moses
    provides
  • Most important, is that your Council understand
that you are NOT SELLING the TC Plaques but
giving them as a thank-you gift for
    donations/pledges of
  • 30 or MORE!

8 x 8 Limestone Plaque and Wood Stand

Speaker Joe Worthing, PM Executive Director, is
available for a fee please call
  • It is NOT necessary to have a professional
speaker, however, someone comfortable with a
    microphone and a crowd helps.
  • If you feel it necessary, Project Moses executive
director and brother Knight, Joe Worthing is
    available for 500 travel/lodging schedule
    permitting.

the Louisiana State Convention

Talking Points
  • Moral backsliding of society over the last 30 yrs
  • Removal of anything related to God from public
    places and public view
  • The ACLU is not the problem but the symptom of
apathy. We the faithful who do not stand up for
the faith are the problem. Quote from Edwin
Burke - The only thing necessary for evil to
succeed is for good people to do nothing.
  • Part of the solution, is for Churches to show
support for Gods law by publicly displaying the
Ten Commandments on their private property where
they cannot be taken down. Quote from Joe
Worthing - If the first place someone sees the
Commandments is a county courthouse, thats
    probably why he is there!
  • By joining Project Moses the parish will not only
be displaying a monument at your church but also
helping to fund the National Memorial in
Washington DC and will be recognized as one of
    the Churches at the Memorial.
  • In fulfilling the PM mission to restore respect
in the Ten Commandments PM hopes to place these
10 Commandments plaques in as many homes as
possible while erecting monuments at Churches,
and so, for a donation or, if you have forgotten
your checkbook, pledge of 30 or more for the
monument, the Knights will give you a Ten
Commandments plaque for your home or office.
  • Knights are at each exit to receive your donation
or if you do not have a checkbook or cash with
you, dont worry, pledge. You can pay your
pledge when we deliver your plaque.
  • Thank you in advance for supporting Gods Law!

13
Volunteers
  • Ten Commandments Weekend
  • Two volunteers per exit
  • per Mass
  • Plaque Distribution Weekend (PM will ship your
plaques in bulk and you will have donors pick
them up at the back of the Church)
  • Two volunteers at the back of the Church after
    each Mass

14
Ordering Your Monument
  • Remember, no matter what you raise, PM will ship
you a monument. Thats right, if all you raise
on this system is 500, send it and we will ship
you a monument. If you raise 10,000 send 4,000
or 4,500 and we will ship you a monument.
  • Decide on the type of stone you want
  • Mt. Sinai Marble Tan or White 4,500 s/h
  • Granite Black or Red 4,000 s/h
  • And call
  • 1-888-667-3710
  • and place your order

15
Installation
  • When shipping is set up with Project Moses you
will be sent an installation guide showing you
    how to place your monument.
  • At the time of the placement and BEFORE the
blessing ceremony, you will need to begin making
    plans for a FREE-NO-OBLIGATION-INFORMATION-NIGHT
to be held the Tuesday evening following the
    Blessing Ceremony.

16
Blessing Ceremony
  • Project Moses has a pre-approved blessing
ceremony written by Archbishop Keleher available
upon request. Please allow a week for it to be
    mailed or emailed.
  • Before the ceremony the 4th degree honor guard
should be invited to participate, flyers for the
info night should be produced, and volunteer
Knights should be recruited to pass out said
    flyers.
  • At the end of the ceremony, the lead-celebrant
should invite the non-knight men of the parish to
come to the info night and to take a flyer from a
    fellow parishioner.

17
No-Obligation-Info-Night
  • With 100 years of service to the Church, simply
display all the Knights are about and encourage
those who attend to PRAYERFULLY consider joining
    the Knights for two reasons
  • First, for themselves and their families. The
Knights will continue whether they join or not
but their being involved could mean all the
difference in a time of need.
  • Second, for the Church and Her priests. Talk
about the work the Knights have done through the
ages and most recently for Mother Church.
Re-iterate, with more members unified more can be
    done.
