No survey of this kind has been done at Brandeis
in recent memory. It thus serves several
purposes 1. Allowing the University to see who
is really present at Brandeis 2. Giving students
the opportunity to self-identify 3. Having a
basis for programming 4. Providing a space for
students to share their voices about their own
identities as well as diversity at Brandeis
