Title: Getting Connected to the Source
1Getting Connected to the Source
- How to live a more spiritual life
2We have no power until we get connected to the
source and that source is God.
- I am the vine, you are the branches he who
abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit
for apart from Me you can do nothing. (John 155)
3Establish contact points with God
- that they should seek God, if perhaps they might
grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far
from each one of us (Acts 1727) - And without faith it is impossible to please Him,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
(Hebrews 116)
4- Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin
the Lord is with you when you are with Him. And
if you seek Him, He will let you find Him but if
you forsake Him, He will forsake you. And for
many days Israel was without the true God and
without a teaching priest and without law. But
in their distress they turned to the Lord God of
Israel, and they sought Him, and He let them find
Him. (2 Chronicles 152-4)

6- Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we
might know the things freely given to us by God,
(1 Corinthians 212) - Be diligent to present yourself approved to God
as a workman who does not need to be ashamed,
handling accurately the word of truth. (2 Timothy
215)
7- So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek
Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting,
sackcloth, and ashes. (Daniel 93)

- How blessed are those who observe His
testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart.
(Psalm 1192) - Because you did not carry it at the first, the
Lord our God made an outburst on us, for we did
not seek Him according to the ordinance. (1
Chronicles 1513)
10- If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual,
let him recognize that the things which I write
to you are the Lords commandment. (1 Corinthians
1437)
11Find encouragement by associating with the Lords
people
- and let us consider how to stimulate one another
to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own
assembling together, as is the habit of some, but
encouraging one another and all the more, as you
see the day drawing near. (Hebrews 1024-25)
12- And all those who had believed were together, and
had all things in common and they began selling
their property and possessions, and were sharing
them with all, as anyone might have need. And day
by day continuing with one mind in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, they were
taking their meals together with gladness and
sincerity of heart, praising God, and having
favor with all the people. And the Lord was
adding to their number day by day those who were
being saved. (Acts 244-47)
13Of Him all the prophets bear witness that
through His name everyone who believes in Him
receives forgiveness of sins. (Acts 1043)
14And Peter said to them, Repent, and let each of
you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for
the forgiveness of your sins and you shall
receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 238)
