Safety at Sea
  • Background
  • Maritime safety is an important transnational
    issue.
  • Both at national level and at regional/local
    level there is a need for implementing risk
    management strategies, methods and tools for the
    prevention of accidents at sea and for reducing
    harmful effects of disasters.
  • Overall aims
  • Materialise risk management strategies
  • Reducing harmful effects of disasters

    management with emphasis on inter-linkages

    zone planning and management
